Web designer and professional human being
I maintained the Senate of Canada public facing website as well as led redesigns and new feature projects to make the website more accessible, user-friendly and modern.
Web integrator for their marketing team. Deployed marketing campaigns to sell their numismatic (collector) line of coins. I worked closely with all departments of the marketing team, especially the e-commerce, brand and corporate departments.
I have been doing web banners/advertisements for the Royal Canadian Mint for over 5 years. I also did a lot of graphic design during my studies at Carleton University, usually taking on the creative design role for most of the school projects.
Redesigned a publishing company's website that disseminates original works, specializing in the areas of culture, the language arts and social sciences.
I make games with friends for fun! First learned in school, I was part of a five person team that created a racing game in Unity that went on to win the Judge's Award at Ubisoft's Academia 2014 competition. The same group made a silly, semi-offensive game about feeding your grandpa sushi—also in Unity. My friends and I have participated in the Global Game Jam for the 10+ years where we're tasked of making a game in 2 days, sometimes winning the People's Choice Award.
I take pictures as a hobby. Lately have been doing more macro and landscape photography.
I graduated with a Bachelor's in Interactive Multimedia Design from Carleton University in 2014.
I'm the first to admit that I may not be the most talented person in the world. But I don't give up. Through discipline, patience and sheer determination, I think you can achieve anything. I love learning and making new things. The feeling of completion and pride once you've seen a project through is something I don't take for granted.
